There’s plenty to see at The Great Room Company this spring – and believe it or not, the majority of it is not our newly constructed homes! We have been “blitzed” by the media lately…thanks to our website and the wonderful pictures that Sandy Agrafiotis always takes for us. People are really starting to take notice of our work. Here’s what’s happening:
The Star House is on newsstands right now in the Better Homes and Gardens Decorating magazine. It’s on the cover with 10 pages inside. We are so thrilled. Their “Lavender Bedroom” was also featured in the BH&G Quick & Easy Magazine. Maureen and Steve’s house will also be taped for HGTV in early June.
Shingle Style (from its perch) has already been videotaped for HGTV. Homeowner Chris and our very own Michelle stepped in front of the camera last week and did a great job of showing off the house. It was certainly fun to be behind the scenes and watch what was going on. BH&G was there this week shooting their kitchen for the BH&G Kitchen and Bath Ideas.
Dramatic Arches also had its turn with HGTV last week. Mike and Maureen were joined by Michelle to present their beautiful kitchen and master suite to the camera. They had a great time and the house was picture perfect, as always. Michelle even had an extra interview telling about Shaker Style cabinetry. In June we will also be visited by Esther Leach who will write articles and take pictures of The Star House and The Marsh View for two magazines. This is very special as she is coming all the way from England. The two British magazines are 25 Beautiful Homes and Ideal Homes. We can’t believe she’s coming over just for us!
Even with all this excitement, we are still doing what we do best…building! Hampton Falls and Kennebunkport are almost finished. We are right in the middle of our first brick home in Newington. The Exeter House is just beginning its finishes. We’re just starting our Portsmouth project. So we’re busy, as usual. They are all “knock-your-socks-off” homes.
