‘Happy summer from all of us here at The Great Room Company! It’s been too long between newsletters, but being that we’re as busy as we are, I’m sure you can understand. We are building right now in all three states, which keeps things interesting (and the insurance companies happy). We have just completed some very dramatic homes and will keep you up-to-date when final photos are available!
Michelle and I are getting ready to be on HGTV together, so mark your calendars. On August 6th at 10 PM we will both be on segments of Kitchen Design. This will be Michelle’s fourth segment but my first. I’ll be at The Star House and she’ll be at Dramatic Arches . We are so excited. I’ll solo on August 15th at 4:30 PM on Bed and Bath at The Star House . For all you night owls, Kitchen Design will re-air on August 7th at 1 AM. If you missed any of the first shows, keep checking our website for schedule announcements. Paul is going to try to get all of our shows on one CD. We’ll keep you posted on that one!
The real big event here was that Paul married Deb Todd on July 11th as they vacationed in Italy. It was a whirlwind of an operation to get all the paperwork in place…Paul should write a book about it someday! The office has been such a happy place. We wish them nothing but wonderful times ahead.
We are also having a facelift at The Hill. Now that we own our buildings, we’re trying to spruce up. Unfortunately, we have to tear up before fixing up. We have had a lot of our bushes torn out and have nothing but dirt to show for it. Michelle’s mom, Marilyn (a great landscape architect) is helping us with a new look outside the office. Stay tuned for the results!
