GOOD-BYE 1999, HELLO 2000

OK, so with all of Paul's hype about this letter, I can't think of a thing to say- like that would ever happen! First, we'd like to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season filled with joy. We are so thankful to have had so many wonderful people to build for this year. Our Brentwood development is almost finished. With just one lot left, it is one of the most private and beautiful places with the woods and wildlife and those beautiful houses all nestled into their lots.

We completed homes from the Hamptons to the Bay to the Beach this year. It has been fun and, of course, a little trying at times; but one thing we know - everyone LOVES their home. It never ceases to amaze me how different they all turn out, but that is always due to our customers and our ability to build just for them. Michelle is amazing at the computer. She's been going to a few classes in Boston put on by Archicad. She can really put it to use with all the new designs she's doing.

Winter and spring are filling up with some great builds in Kennebunk and Newington (those Open Houses really do work). We continue our progress in Kennebunk and York as the New Year approaches. We're finding Kennebunk to be the "hot spot" for this year. Lots of out-of-state friends are moving into the area with Texas and California leading the list. We are actually trying to use the Internet for our long-distance designs.

I guess that leads me to our Website. Paul worked so hard on it this year. It is a wonderful way to peek at some of our homes. We've had lots of great responses to it. So it was worth all the time, effort and bickering that we put into it (Paul ALWAYS won the arguments as to how it should look because he was the only one who knew how to change it!).

Other little tidbits for some of our "old and new" customers; remember Donny? He and his wife, Jen are expecting their 3rd baby in June. Babies are booming everywhere around us; Mike and Jodie (York house) had a little girl a few months ago. Chris and Kim (Windham house) also had a girl just a few weeks ago. Rick Smith (from Olde Kent Mortgage) and his wife are expecting soon. On a sadder note, our very good friend, Tyson McMahon, died in October. He was a true friend and a unique gentleman in the truest sense. We will miss him. Andy got a new dog, Chance, to keep the seat warm next to him where Max used to ride. And, by the way, he did win the float contest in Berwick! If you've got news, email us! We'd love to hear from you.

In closing, we wish all of you the greatest New Year ever. Health and happiness to all of you. That's it for now except for one last question that my father ALWAYS asks me around this time: Can you name all of Santa's reindeer??!

Good Cheer!
