HAPPY SPRING !!

Thought I might take this wet Spring day to write an update on what we're doing here at The Great Room Company - and believe me, it's NOT a Rain Dance.

The Exeter House will be officially occupied as of this weekend. We've really enjoyed building it and showing it off. It has certainly been our highest profile house between design and, of course, location. It's always a happy (but a little sad) occasion when we finish a project. We wish Kris, Eileen, and the kids well in their new home.

We had a great time with Sandy and Dave Meldrum, who invited us over for lunch and to see their Great Room home - now one year old!! It's always fun to see what everyone has done to fill up all the spaces we create for them. The food and the company were terrific - the house was fantastic.

The major renovation on Moody Beach continues to amaze us as it progresses. Every day makes it grander. Even though we're working very hard with the Quill's, this has been a pleasure of a project. We can't wait to show it off!!

The Haverhill house is just starting to take shape. The second story walls are just going up. This house is going to be an eye - catcher, and the views out its "windows" are quite breathtaking. We will probably be having an Open House here around mid - June. The DiPietro's are also NOT doing a Rain Dance this month!!

The Martel's house in East Kingston will be the next on our list, along with a few additions sprinkled in. There's always room for more.

Our biggest news is not about a house, but about land. We have eight beautiful lots along the Exeter River in Brentwood. They are large lots that will be ready for building by July. They are totally surrounded by conservation land, so they are very private. We are very excited about this. The lots will be offered for under $50K. We already have some interest, so if you'd like to walk the lots or have more information, just call the office.

So that's all from Paul, Doug, and myself right now. We'd love to hear from you - and build for you!! Enjoy the Spring weather!!
